Saint-Gobain is delighted to announce that the UK’s first Multi Comfort building, Bartholomew Barn at the King’s School in Worcester, has been shortlisted in the Construction News Sustainable Project of the Year awards.
Bartholomew Barn is a new sports and drama hall that has been designed and built to Saint-Gobain’s Multi Comfort concept. Learn more about the Multi Comfort concept here.
The new hall places the comfort, health and wellbeing of the occupants at a premium with its excellent levels of natural light, purpose designed acoustics, good indoor air quality and high levels of thermal comfort.
We're going to London on the 27th April to talk to the judging panel about the building – this will include some of the data from the build. Bartholomew Barn has been wired with sensors to measure how it performs and we’re currently analysing 66 million bits of data.
Wish us luck!
